VENISON KEFTA BURGERS

These mini-burgers are packed with flavor - the perfect combination of ingredients to ramp up the flavor of your hunt. No luck in the fields? The venison can always be subbed with ground beef or turkey - keeping you on top of your HERO grilling game.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 35 minutes
Yields: 3 main course servings
1 lb. ground venison
½ cup chopped parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. fresh cracked pepper
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. ground allspice
2 Tbsp. club soda
FIRST In a large bowl combine ingredients and gently mix with hands until combined, careful not to overmix. Loosely form the mixture into 6 small patties, wrap in plastic wrap and place in a cooler until ready for use.
NEXT Using HERO Grill instructions, light charcoal pod, and prepare grill for cooking. Place burgers on grill, and cook for 6 - 8 minutes on each side. For medium, internal temp should register 145 degrees F. Continue to cook for 2 - 3 minutes per side to your desired consistency.
LAST Remove burgers from grill and rest for 5 minutes. Serve.
